Unbeknown to many, The Wheel Inn has had a long history of traditional pub games being played within its buildings. One such game, Skittles, played a huge part in the community. Sadly, this traditional game has left many pubs around the Vale, including The Wheel Inn. However, since my takeover in August, I have found the old rack and restored it as a feature within the new Skittle Bar. 

The Skittle Bar is now open to the public to enjoy and will offer another location for drinkers or diners over the forthcoming months. It offers a range of lagers including Asahi, Peroni and Meantime IPA on draft, wth other beers available by bottle. We also have a great selection of wines, or some of the fizzy stuff that want something with a few bubbles. 

Whether You'd like to come in and sit in front of the log fire around a traditional copper table or relax into the sofa to chat with friends or family, we will only be too happy to oblige.
